CHICKPEA OMELET

This right here is a chickpea omelet, which is going to change your breakfast game forever! This is super easy to make and you can add the same things you would normally eat on a omelet to this one! The taste is great, not very “egg like” but warm and filling like a break food should be. I think my next one I make is going to be a southwest omelet or maybe a cheezy omelet with some followyourheart shredded cheddar, anyways the possibilities are endless with your new breakfast staple! This is a breakfast game changer!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups of chickpea flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 5 tbsp of nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp of flax
  • 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • 1 tsp of cayenne
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tbsp of onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • any vegetables you'd typically eat a omelet with
Directions
  • Step 1 Set on stove a cooking pan and turn on low heat with a little bit of oil of your choice
  • Step 2 mix all dry ingredients together
  • Step 3 slowly add in 1/3 cup of water at a time until throughly mixed together
  • Step 4 pour 2/3 of the batter onto the pan and cook until it bubbles
  • Step 5 then flip onto the other side and wait until it is cooked through
  • Step 6 place onto plate and add vegetables, ketchup, or hot sauce!
